Insurance Medicals

You may be asked by various commercial organisations e.g. insurance companies, or by government bodies, e.g. driving authorities, to have a medical examination. This is not a part of the GP’s statutory duties & for this work either you or the requesting organisation will be charged accordingly. Please note Insurance medical examinations on patients who are registered with our Practice will not be completed by your usual GP, this is to avoid any conflict of interest in the report.

Charges for Non-NHS Services

In addition to the above we charge for various other items including letters supporting appeals, private sick notes, and some travel vaccinations. Please refer to the notices in the waiting room or ask at reception for details.
